1. Definition and Purpose of the License
A music license is an exploitation agreement that legally authorizes you to use a musical work within a specific context (video, podcast, advertising, event, etc.).

1 bis. Scope of the License – Rights Granted

The license granted applies exclusively to the use of the audio master of the work concerned, for professional purposes as described in your license.
It does not constitute a transfer of ownership or an assignment of copyright.

Copyright in the composition, lyrics and arrangement remains owned by the author and may be managed separately, in particular by a collective rights management organization such as SACEM.

🚫 You may not resell or redistribute the music on its own → You may not include the work in a sound library or compilation.
🚫 You may not claim the work as your own creation.

💰 4. Pricing and Supporting Documents

Our prices are calculated fairly and transparently according to the type of organization.

🔹 Pricing criteria:
✅ Companies → Prices based on annual turnover.
✅ Associations → Prices adapted according to the declared annual budget.
✅ Public authorities → Prices adjusted according to the population of the territory concerned.

📌 Supporting documentation may be requested (e.g. company registration extract, accounting statement, administrative document) to confirm eligibility for the applicable rate.

📜 5. Invoicing, Proof of Purchase and Contract

The invoice issued by Soul Rebel E-Shop serves as proof of purchase and defines your usage rights according to the general terms of the license selected.

✅ It includes:

• essential information about the purchaser,
• the type of license purchased,
• the work concerned.

📌 No additional certificate or contract is automatically provided.

📝 If you require a formally signed contract, for example for institutional, administrative, exclusive or legal purposes, a customized license agreement may be prepared upon request, at no additional cost.

⚖ 7. Consequences of Failure to Comply with These Terms

Any use that does not comply with these terms may expose the purchaser to legal consequences in accordance with the French Intellectual Property Code and international copyright conventions.

🔐 9. Compatibility with Rights Managed by SACEM

Some works offered on Soul Rebel E-Shop may be, or may later become, registered with SACEM (Société des Auteurs, Compositeurs et Éditeurs de Musique). This means that certain public exploitation rights may be managed by this organization.

📌 What this means for you:

• The license sold by Soul Rebel E-Shop does not include SACEM rights.
• You may use the music within the scope defined by your license, but certain uses (public performance, radio, television, live shows, paid events, reproduction on media intended for sale, etc.) may require the payment of additional copyright royalties to SACEM or to a partner organization (e.g. SPRE, SDRM, etc.).
• It is your responsibility to obtain the relevant information and, where applicable, to make the necessary declarations.

🎯 If the work is not registered with SACEM, all usage rights defined in the license are granted directly by the author, without additional fees.

📌 If the work is subsequently registered with SACEM, you remain authorized to use the audio master under the original conditions defined by the license, but certain public uses may require additional authorization or the payment of royalties to SACEM.
