Designed for recording acoustic instruments, drum overheads, cymbals, and live performance, this externally biased mic features a 1/2" capsule and an active J-FET impedance converter with a bipolar output buffer. Its tight cardioid polar pattern also makes it ideal for recording dialogue in the studio, mounted on a stand or boom pole. If required, the NT5 can be fitted with an optional omnidirectional capsule (NT45-O). Finished in a durable satin nickel finish, the NT5 is available singly or as a matched pair.
