The 1/2" condenser capsule is housed in a rugged metal housing and features an internal suspension. The M3 can be powered by P48 phantom power or a 9V battery. A pad selector (–10dB or –20dB) is located in the battery compartment and is ideal for recording high-level sources such as a guitar amp or snare drum. The switchable low-pass filter cuts out handling noise and other interference below 80Hz.
