The PG2-R is a shock-absorbing grip designed to reduce handling noise when recording with shotgun microphones in handheld or boom-mounted situations. The PG2-R is equipped with two Rycote Lyre mounts to ensure maximum isolation of all handling vibrations, four possible mounting points to suit the full range of RODE compatible shotgun microphones, with an integrated clip providing cable management. The newly designed lightweight grip offers improvements in ergonomics and functionality. The grip accommodates multiple cable mounting points, with a dedicated space for the PG2-R Pro Cable XLR connector at the end of the base for easy connectivity. A sturdy locking nut on the side of the grip ensures precise microphone angle adjustment, while a 3/8" thread at the base of the grip provides a secure connection to boom poles and microphone stands.
